Changing old perceptions

The mission of the Rhode Island Textile Innovation Network (RITIN) is to make Rhode Island a world-class center for advanced and innovative textile manufacturing. But after two years of existence, there was minimal awareness of the organization. Worse, while innovation was changing the face of the textiles, the public still perceived of the industry as old and dusty. Our job was to show how textile companies have reinvented themselves for the 21st century and shine a light on exciting developments right here in Rhode Island, including employment and career opportunities.
